Responsible for all aspects of mergers, acquisitions and inorganic growth, Burhan is currently Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Corporate Development Officer at Conduent.
Prior to joining Conduent, Burhan spent more than a decade in a variety of roles at Infosys, a global leader in technology services and consulting. Before his departure, he led the Corporate Finance, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Investments at Infosys. Under his stewardship, Infosys developed and launched a $500M venture fund for investing in early-stage start-ups engaged in disruptive technology. Burhan advised the Infosys Board and leadership on a variety of strategic investment decisions and special projects and was the architect of investment philosophies and transaction rationale for strategic drivers at Infosys. Burhan held numerous financial roles including Head of the Deals Advisory Group overseeing strategic outsourcing and inorganic investments, structuring complex multi-billion-dollar transactions across a variety of industries and service lines. In addition, Burhan was Business Unit CFO for multiple business units. Prior to Infosys, Burhan held a variety of trading, operational and financial roles with ConAgra in the South Asian market.
Burhan holds an Economics and Commerce Degree. He attended Stanford University where he completed an executive program specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions. He earned his Certified Public Accounting degree from both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
